The short version

Hummock has no accounts, no passwords and no login. Your island lives on your device and, on iPhone, mirrors to your personal iCloud so it survives reinstalls. On Android it is backed up with your device backup. We cannot see your island, your save or your iCloud data.

What the game stores

Your progress (island growth, streaks, coins, settings) is saved as a small file on your device. On iOS it is also mirrored to iCloud key value storage tied to your Apple ID. This data never touches our servers.

If you delete the app and its iCloud data, your progress is gone. We keep no copy.

Analytics

We collect anonymous gameplay statistics so we can see how far players get, which stages are too hard and whether anything is broken. There is no third party analytics company involved: the data goes to our own server, run by us on Cloudflare.

What we receive is a random identifier created on your device, your app version, device platform and OS version, the country your request arrives from, and gameplay events such as starting a session, completing a harvest or reaching a stage. That identifier is not your Apple ID, not your advertising identifier and not derived from your hardware. It is not linked to your name or any account, because Hummock has no accounts.

We never receive your contacts, photos, precise location, or anything you type. We do not sell this data, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you across other apps and websites.

You can turn it off. Open Settings inside the game and switch Share Stats off, and the app stops sending anything at all.

Advertising and purchases

This version of Hummock has no advertising and no in app purchases. Nothing is sold to you and no ad network receives anything about you.

If that changes in a future update we will update this policy before the feature ships, and any advertising consent required in your region will be asked for at that time.

Children

Hummock is a general audience game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are configured to exclude sensitive categories.

Your choices

You can switch Share Stats off in the game settings at any time, which stops all analytics immediately. You can request deletion of the anonymous statistics tied to your install by emailing us. Deleting the app and its iCloud data removes your progress entirely, and we keep no copy.
